Mobile access control
for remote and dynamic sites,
where fixed readers can't reach.

Alutel Mobile is the core mobile reader application of the AlutelMobility Suite, designed to identify and verify people in remote, temporary or hard-to-reach locations.

Using the rugged RAGTAB AM181 PDA as a Portable Mobile Reader, it brings your existing access control rules to construction sites, buses, mines and any area where installing fixed readers is not practical.

What is Alutel Mobile?

A mobile reader to extend your access control.

Alutel Mobile turns a handheld device into a fully featured access control reader, enforcing the same permissions and rules you have in your central system.

It is ideal for identifying employees, contractors and visitors in mines, large yards, construction sites or transportation, where fixed hardware is either too complex or impossible to install.

Construction sites without finished infrastructure or cabling for fixed readers.

Buses, shuttle services and staff transportation where boarding must be controlled.

Remote mining areas and outdoor operations with changing checkpoints.

Multi-credential support

Read cards, codes and mobile IDs.

Validate people using RFID badges (HID Prox, MIFARE, iCLASS, SEOS and more), QR codes, barcodes and mobile credentials from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Optionally, extend with face recognition integration.

Online & offline

Keep validating even without coverage.

When the device is online, events are sent in real time. In offline mode, Alutel Mobile uses an internal database to grant or deny access and stores events locally until connectivity with the server is restored and everything is synchronized.

GPS & tracking

Know where each event happened.

Each entry and exit event can include GPS coordinates. The device also sends periodic positions to the central server, enabling live maps and historical tracking of personnel and devices.

Alarms & reporting

Panic alarms and on-device activity logs.

Operators can trigger panic alarms directly from the handheld. A built-in activity report lets supervisors review recent validations and alarms without leaving the app.

How it works

From identification in the field to events in your access control.

Alutel Mobile connects your people in the field with your central access control platform, using online and offline workflows that keep operations running even in harsh conditions.

  1. Step 1

    Identify the person

The operator presents a badge, QR or mobile ID. The app shows name, last name, photo and any relevant information from your access control system.

  2. Step 2

    Validate and record the event

According to the configured rules, Alutel Mobile generates a valid or invalid event, including time, device and GPS location. In offline mode, events are stored safely on the device.

  3. Step 3

    Sync & track centrally

When connectivity is available, events and GPS traces are synchronized with the central server, enabling real-time dashboards, historical tracking and consolidated reporting.
